I'm going to make the jump from orbital to rotary this year and I notice that the Flex is your weapon of choice. Do you feel that it has advantages over the Makita and others or is it just a personal preference. With so many choices out there, it's tough to evaluate them all.

Thanks again for the extensive detailing display!
You're welcome and I'm glad our post are of value to you.

The FLEX used in this detail was actually the random orbital. As you can see, it's a very powerful tool and with the right pad and polish combo, it can match any rotary out there. We do use our Makita rotary though a lot as well, but I don't recommend that for the DIYer.

Nice write-up and results, Moe!

I'm surprised to see the weights mounted on the lips of those wheels, wtf?!

Thanks

As for the weights, I'm sure Ferrari has its reasons. Otherwise, it is a bit out of place.

Awesome work.

Do guys with average cars use your services? Meaning people without Ferrari money.

Yup, their wheels are so untrue they had to put weights on the front too.
