Is the leather still wet? How is the carpet? If it was my car I would remove the seats and carpet and make sure everything gets thoroughly cleaned to make sure no mold grows.

Great information Dan1. I would also say that Leather Conditioner will also be your best friend for a while. You may need to condition your seats daily for a couple of weeks to bring back the suppleness. 1z Leather Care is very easy to use, and yields excellent results.

Most leather surfaces are pretty durable now days. I'd go with a deep cleaning and conditioning using leatherique. It's an excellent product and we've seen it work wonders. Should bring the leather back to life and better than before.

Wet Leather - over soaking with water (rain from an open sunroof or window) will result in the fibres becoming distorted and then when they are dried will not shrink back into their previous state or position and so become hard and less flexible. Once surface is thoroughly, apply Leather Master’s Soft Touch (ex Vital) this will restore the leathers flexibility. And then apply a protector. This product will truly re-soften older leather and soften stiff leather.
