Can this be PDR?

I was driving through snow and accidentally slipped while taking a corner and clipped my rear fender against a truck's rear bumper. Looking to see if the dent can be pulled. Any recommendation for dent removal in orange county, ca?

thanks

If you can, please take a few more pictures from different angles and email it to me. We may be able to fix it.

with the attached photo it can be done by a pro. I don't see any hard creases which make it very difficult.

Cheers,
GREG

I am ranked as one of the 40 best pdr techs in the country and I would have a hard time with that dent. I am not saying it couldnt be done but to make the right call I would need to see it from another angle or two.

I doubt it could be made 100% It's likely there will still be a gap between the metal and the plastic fender flare.

Help explain why it would be hard to make right? I'm eager to learn the tell tale signs.

Cheers

LOL.....keep the dent and save your money......you need a new camera!

I still don't think its that bad, but awaiting the explanation as to why its so bad and to have it body shopped.

Cheers,
GREG

It's obvious from the 2nd picture since it's a sharp dent as it gets closer to the bumper. It would be tough to get it out perfectly. When it's that sharp, chances are the paint is broken as well.

That does look pretty bad from this angle. Take it to european motorcar works if you need bodywork. Only shop in SoCal we use.

Any time you have the edge of the panel damaged it is much harder to fix. The rear fender also has a metal fender well which makes access even harder. The second picture shows the damage better and I believe 100% that it needs to go to a body shop. If anyone is interested I can post up some of the crazy dents I've fixed.

that dent can be PDR'd about 95% or better. and thats what id do too. not worth having any kind of bodywork done and repainting the entire panel just for that.
