Best way to clean the aluminum trim pieces

inside and out on my CayenneS.
The aluminum trim on the interior could use a good cleaning. On the outside the aluminum trim is dirty, has not come clean with regular washing. I would think that I would need 2 different cleaners? TIA

Can you post some pictures...

Usually a paint cleanser works really well if it's just dull.

Moe,
Thanks I picked up some wadding polish that cleaned up the exterior aluminum quite nicely. The interior is probably plastic made to look like aluminum, I might try a plastic cleaner on those bits.

hhhhh How could you suggest such a thing from Porsche

I'm pretty sure it's the real thing...you can check by rubbing a wet towel on the surface and see if you pull up any gray or black....be gentle and do it in an inconspicuous area.

Try using some P21S Finish Restorer. This stuff works great on cleaning and restoring metal finishes.

I'd be careful using finish restorer on the interior pieces. It may impart a shine instead of a matte look.
