991 cab roof

My 991 cab finally arrived and its my first cab. While I have detailed all my previous cars I have no idea what to do with this roof. Also, it is red. I imagine you can just wash it with normal car wash soap, but what can I use to protect the roof? Obviously I can't wax it but I would imagine I'd want to put Om some kind of protectant to keep the color from fading and keep it soft so it won't start cracking from opening and closing.

All the 991 cabs we've done so far are treated as follows:

1. Wash top with 303 Fabric Top Cleaner
2. Dry, or allow top to dry completely
3. Protect with 303 Fabric Guard

Some of the tops we've treated from almost 24 months ago are still beading like paint.

As for routine care, simply wash as you would normally with your car wash soap, or simply just rinse the top.

303 has worked impressively on my wife's Boxster. And to Moes point, it lasts a long time.

Thanks everyone for the reply's I'll be looking into those products soon as it looks like spring might make an appearance in the next couple of weeks! I'd like to keep this car for a few years at least and the top is one piece I want to keep as pristine as possible.
