TLC Auto Detail - 2013 Nissan GT-R Correction

We were lucky enough to have another rGT-R come through our doors today. This one is a 2013 in black. It was scheduled for a New Car Prep and correction.

It was getting dark when we started, so no pics of the wash process. The car was not filty at all, we did a normal 2 bucket wash with Meguiars Hyperwash and clayed the car with a Car Pro clay block. The wheels were cleaned with Car Pro Iron X and the tires and wheel wells were cleaned with Blackfire APC.

Here is how the paint looked after it was totally clean and stripped.

Nothing terrible, but certainly in need of some attention. We ended up with a two step approach on this vehicle. The first step was Meguiars M101 on an MF cutting pad with the Rupes 21LHR. This was followed up with Menzerna 106fa on a green buff and shine pad, also with the Rupes21. Here is how the paint ended up turning out.

We had tons of dust, so we eneded up washing the car down again to remove it, and then we applied 4 Start Sealant to the paint and wheels. The tires were dressed with CarPro Perl, the wheel wells with Hyperdressing, and the glass was cleaned with Meguiars Glass Cleaner. The exhaust tips were polished with Collinite Metal Wax, and the trim was also dressed with CarPro Perl. Here is how it all turned out.

We thoroughly enjoyed working on this car, and can't wait for the next GT-R to come our way. Thanks for taking the time to look, and we appreciate any feedback!
