Moving, cover(s) for best carport protection?

Moving to Tucson and new house only has a carport. In order to protect the paint on my 997, thinking of putting soft indoor cover tightly over car to keep paint safe, then cover that with a top waterproof cover of some sort. Trying to avoid chafing of the looser/stiffer waterproof type.

Any thoughts or suggestions for this application?

Thanks!

Difficult here in AZ due to the amount of dust in the air - it gets under any cover outside. If you're already in shade under the carport, the cover won't provide much more protection.

It would be better just to invest with better waxes and sealant that can surely protect your paint with the hash environment.

carport

A good carport will give good protection from sun, rain and anything dropped by the sky...better more if sides are shut. It will be more difficult to stop the dust...
