CR Spotless Intro
CR Spotless Intro
Howdy all-
New vendor sponsor on board for a quick intro to put an 'avatar to the name' for CR Spotless and give you a point of contact for the 'magic' that it brings to your garage.
I'm the Director of Sales and Marketing after helping Chuck, the owner of CRSS, start this business over 10 years ago. The Navy was my primary responsibility at the time so reassignment and relocation 'departed me from the pattern' but I'm back after enjoying a 'first career' as an FA-18 driver/remanufacturer. I now have the pleasure of helping Chuck (who at one time was USN as well) spread the good word about what this technology can do for you around the garage (and home).
I'll be happy to entertain all questions & comments and even take smart remarks in the spirit of developing the long-term relationship with those who enjoy the reward of time invested in the care and feeding of our 4-wheeled mistresses. Stay tuned for group buys and special offers.
Please feel free to email me directly as well with any questions and you can catch me at john@crspotless.com
Thanks for the read, best to all, and maybe see some of y'all at Speedfest in a couple weeks at my old stomping grounds at NAS North Island.

I own one of these rigs the dual cartage large one and living in NY it really changed my life. I can wash the car when I want to not only when its dark. After owning a black car and getting spots from the water dryiong too fast I ordered my unit.
Black car is gone, replaced by white but still use it ion the sunny days and it works great. My only caution is use the sprayer they give you. If you flow too fast the minerals don't get removed as effectively. other than that, its goof proof.
Over the years I have needed a random part and the spotless has been an excellent vendor.

Thank you for the kind words and the 'changed my life' part is a common theme among most users (it certainly was for me...enough so that spreading the word to fellow enthusiasts was my first choice on the 'to do' list after retiring).
The flow rate is key for optimum performance and the fan setting on the spray nozzle ensures the flow rate is below 2.5 gallons per minute. If you really want to hot rod the system, buy a $99 pressure washer with a 1.5gpm flow rate and stand-by...you'll want to wash everything in sight and maybe even the neighbor's cat (not that I've ever done so...but I did think about it once...when it was sitting on the wife's vert one morning...in my garage...). Stay tuned for some exciting product developments in '15.
I use it w/ the pressure washer to blast the windows on my house and I never have to take the screens off to do so. Fan setting on a 1450psi pressure washer gets it all clean and I don't have to wipe 'em dry, either. Windows = done = 10 min = happy wife = happy life
Cheers!

Bought one about 6 months ago. The large double cartridge model DIC-20. Did my windows on the house. However there were some water marks after they dried. Had to go back and spray bottle & wipe with the blue shop towels you can by at Costco.
I have washed my cars but still need to dry with either a Micro Fiber towel and or my power blaster dryer. So it's a good product but the "Wash, Rinse and Walk Away" isn't exactly accurate unless you don't mind a some water marks. However I have a dark car. On a white car I am sure you wouldn't notice the water marks. Which I am not a big fan of. But it certainly beats using the water straight from the house. So good product, just not quite as advertised. Welcome to 6Speed.

I had a similar experience and it was due tio my flow rate being too fast. I slowed it down and the spots went away.
My water is hard and I go through quite a bit of resin in the washing season.

JSF721 nailed it- flow rate is the #1 reason our customers experience any challenges with the system. We like to see flow rates below 2.5 gallons per minute for two reasons: it optimizes the ion exchange (i.e. gets rid of the minerals) AND it increases the longevity of your resin (a bit 'counter intuitive' for a businessman to not try and sell 'more stuff', but we're all along for this ride together, enjoy our cars, and the happier you are with the product, the happier we are making it for y'all). As previously noted- a 1.5gpm pressure washer really enhances the system and you'll have a hard time putting the wand down after realizing the true benefits of the 'total system', but you don't have to use one to get 'spot free water'. The nozzle supplied with the system on 'fan' setting will work just fine (try only opening your spigot 3/4 turn...that will help keep the flow rate down but will still give you pressure).
Hope this helps! Please pm me with any more questions or give me a call at (858) 530-9993 and let's get you going with the true magic the product is designed to provide.
