Removing residue from wheel weights

What's the best way to remove the residue from where a balancing weight was? These are OEM 911 wheels. I tried Goof Off, but it doesn't seem to have much effect. Thanks.

I noted that you used goof-off

Scrape as with a plastic tool (like door panel remover tool) as much as you can. Then use goof-off.

Yes, been there done that. But goof-off, IMO, I even though slow is still the safest.

Of course, wash and wax afterwards to eliminate GOOF-off.

I have used Wurth Prep Solv and brake cleaner. Make sure to degrease and apply a good sealant or coating afterwards and it will remove all waxes and sealants.
