Depends on the type of car, condition and what it needs. Also depends on chemicals and machines you use. I would say $250 is a minimum starting point and you go up from there.

i would say so. that's more of a starting price in major cities.
but maybe where there isn't a big market, that might sound about right.

It all depends on the time they're going to spend on your car, the type of work they're going to do, and the quality of products. Most importantly though, what experience do they have working on YOUR car. I cannot tell you how disturbing it is when guys try and save a few bucks and take it to the local gas station or have a novice detailer do the work. If the leather is damaged from too harsh of chemicals, a new seat is in the thousands and to repair it might cost you a few hundred. So remember the old saying "you get what you pay for". Visit their shop, talk to the owner, look at examples of their work, and ask for references. Hope this helps. After all, I own a detailing company and I would do this if I had a Porsche.
