How do folks in apartments keep their cars?
How do folks in apartments keep their cars?
I'm the proud parent of an 03 Black Targa. The car is gorgeous, but the previous owner took her to a regular car wash for about 3 years. I plan to follow the advice in the previous threads, and remove the fine swirlls that have built up over time, or go to a good detailer in the Bay-Area to get this done.
My problem is where do I go from there? I live in a flat, and don't have access to a water-hose where I store my car. Are there alternatives to wet-washes? I assume taking her to Auto-Pride or some other local car-wash where they'll run her through some big machine is a big-No No and will get me beat up by other porsche owners...
Apologies in advance if I'm suggesting certian sacreligious events here, but this is the first car I've REALLY wanted to take care of.
Thanks for your help

Try taking it to the automated coin washes where you do the washing. Buy high quality products and take to the wash and do it yourself. You'll have pride knowing you're in chrge of the appearance of your new P-car. There are lots of good products out there that are designed for the most lazy to the most fanatical. I recommend using products that are natural and contain no silicones or petrochemicals. My 2 cents
