Ordered Portor Cable package from autogeeks

Hey everyone, I got the BIG Portercable package from autogeeks.

Portercable
Polish
Swirl Remover
Liquid Souveran
Orange, Blue, White pads

Any tips? I REALLY need to get the swirl marks off of the Maranellos hood. It's not really bad, just light swirls from sub-perfect cleaning techniques (due to previous owner).

The paint on a Ferrari is quite difficult to correct with a PC. It's a PPG paint and is actually pretty hard. What polishes did you get and who's the manufacturer of the pads?

And I just got medium adhesion painters tape. Should work fine, right?

I'm not familiar with Pinnicale's line of products. Lake country pads are probably the best in the world; my opinion. The orange pad is a light cutting pad to be used with a polish and DA. You then follow it with the white pad and either the same polish or one more gentle. Then you can either apply your wax with the finishing pad or by hand. I'd also give it a final wipe down an hour or so after the process when you're done. Use a liquid carnauba spray and a high quality microfiber towel. This will set the wax and remove light hazing form the wax. Your medioum adhesion tape should be fine to mask off the trim. I use the blue painter's tape.
