Pulled the trigger today...

Most other similar products incorporate abrasive "grit" to "scrub" the surface clean. HD-Cleanse uses Montan oil (a natural solvent that will not penetrate clean paint), apricot kernel oil, and lemon seed oil spun to a very thin consistency. As you apply HD-Cleanse, the oils penetrate and breakdown contaminants on the surface of the paint, so they can be wiped off without scratching the top paint layer."
That said, why use FP and skip the less abrasive FPII prior to HD cleanse? Just my .02.
You're giving me **** about the top speed of my Italian Pinto, and then you title a thread "Pulled the trigger today" when all you bought was a can of wax??? Must have been a pretty big trigger there. Be careful where you point that next. We might have an entire thread devoted to your new collection of designer micro-fiber towels . . .

I only use FPII on my cars because I never let my paint get that bad and PO106FF only on my MBs with Ceram-coat paint.

I'll add one thing...the ingredient that makes HD a mild polish is crushed apricot seeds. The montan oil as you mentioned essentially melts the impurities and contaminants. The crushed apricot seeds will polish out minor imperfections like microswirls from washing. Because of the oils as well, it conditions the paint and prepares it for the Zymol waxes. You MUST use HD prior to any Zymol wax application for proper bonding. Now by bonding, I mean on a very molecular level. Not like clear bonding to paint.
Vintage is a great wax I have been using it for the last 2 years, make sure you melt all the carnauba crystals before touching the paint and A little trick I do is wash your hands with Zymol clear before applying the wax Clear has natural oils which help spread the wax.
