whats the best way to get the wood trim in an older car looking deep and new?

 

It all depends on if it's got a clear over it. The best way to tell is if it's glossy. If there's gloss, you need to polish it first. A mild polish should do the trick. You then need to wax it. If bare wood, you can use a natural carnauba wax. I usually use Zymol HD-Cleanse to polish the wood and apply Detail Wax to treat the wood. If bare wood, you can use Detail Wax.

 

moe thanks for the help, did just that the wood turned out to be coated so used a light polish followed by wax and it came out great
