You're right. You need to do 106FF first since it's a bit more aggressive than final polish. 106FF/orange LC pad, FP/LC white pad. It works for me.

honestly the cut on 106 is more but it should finish out better than final polish II.

I would say to use IP for more cut and finish with 106. But that's just me.

You can also do IP and finish with 85RD right? or would Final Polish be better?

I personally think that 85rd and 106 finish off better than FPII

Do you need anything else besides what comes in this kit, to use it on the Porter Cable? The reason I ask is because there are several adaptors on amazon.com and I don't know which one you need to make these pads work.
