What is the best product to use with the Convertible top?

I have read some reviews and instructions that require you to tape off and cover the car to protect the painted surfaces of the car. Is there anything that has UV protection and conditioner that can be used with out all the fuss?

 

According to Porsche, the yarn used to make your conv. top already has UV protection in it. The rule of thumb is when the top stops beading, you should treat it with something. I've heard great things about 303 fabric guard. Apply it in the garage where there's not too much wind. You don't have to worry about masking anything off.
