Cleaning wheels

This may sound so obvious to some but it is an ongoing problem of mine.

How the hell do you clean the far side of your rims on your car? I mean the deep inner lip. I'm running 13" wide wheels on the back of my Z06 and it is almost impossible to get the inner wheel clean. Same on my Techarts and my Modulares on my CLS. Any little hints that you guys use that might help short of removing the wheels everytime I clean.

Right now, I use a sheepskin brush/mitt combo to get the outside of the rimes and the inner few inches.

You'll need a brush from a company called e-z brush. It's got an excellent reach and the bristles are high quality so they won't scratch anyhting.

I agree with Moe, the EZ Detail brush is great for getting into tight spots, around the brake caliper, and has a good reach. I've been using it with my polished aluminum HRE wheels with no problems. You can get the brush from several places such as AutoGeek, ProperAutocare, etc.

+1 for the EZ brush. I like how it bends and gets behind the spokes.

Great question, I am glad you asked that. Let me know if you are going to order one, maybe we can combine shipping.

Jonathon, I already have one and I've never thougth to use it for cleaning wheels. I used it the other night on my Techarts and let me tell you, it worked great. I'll let you borrow it if you want to.

Do you know of anywhere local that sells these? This looks like it would come in handy for many things. I have a similar Maguires brush, but it SUCKS.
