Solution for Glass Chips?
I searched but didn't find anything, so...

I hate glass chips. But I don't want to spend $1,000 to get a new windshield every 6 months. Has anyone found a solution that fills in the chips? I know pros can do it, so why not me? I know you can buy that eyeglass repair kit from an infomercial, so why not for windshields?

Most autoparts stores carry a kit, usually $50.

I bought a kit. The instructions make it out to be a total pain in the ***. Seems easier to buy a new windshield.

It's usually clean, fill and then use the light thing to cure it. Not much work, what kit did you buy?
