Nasty Black Paint
My mom purchased a new boxster several years ago and for the first 2 years of its life she babied it and had her son (me) hand wash it/wax and polish when needed. For that period of time, the paint was absolutely perfect and even though it was black, it showed no swirls even in direct sun.
She was driving one day and a van side t-boned her causing 15k+ in damage. Most of the car was repainted and the body shop hologramed the paint like crazy. After it returned, it went through a period of back and forth trips to the body shop corrected little things before she finally just gave up on it ever being perfect again. She has only machine washed it since then and it spends long periods of the year outside. I decided to do my best to clean the paint and polish it to as close to black as it could be:
Before:

After several hours of wash/clay/compound:

Final after polishes/wax:

I will post pics of the whole car as soon as I get back over.
