Removing Wax
Removing Wax
What is the best way to remove/strip wax, all the way down to the clear coat?
I just spent a full weekend detailing up my Porsche, which included a five coat Zaino wax process, finished with Z8 & Z-CS. Now, my buddy is going to cover my rear spoiler wing with clearbra but he needs to remove the wax before applying the clearbra. I have no need to polish out any imperfections. I just need the safest way to remove all wax and other products from my rear wing.
Any products you would recommend that I could buy localy or order online?

Use a good claybar. I have yet to do a Porsche, but I use Meguiars. I understand, from the forum, that Adam's claybar is a good one to use. It will also remove any contamination on the paint as well.
Make a 50/50 isopropyl alcohol and either drinking or deionized water mixture and wipe down the area you want the wax removed. Use a microfiber towel and spray the towel and gently wipe.
