Porsche (POR3.GR) to fight government plans to give minority Volkswagen shareholders more power - FT

The FT cites comments from Porsche chief executive Wendelin Wiedeking at the company's annual meeting. Recall that while the German government has agreed to comply with the European Court of Justice’s ruling deeming that Volkswagen's anti-takeover provision violates the free movement of capital, it has a proposed a revision to the law that would provide veto power over big moves to shareholders who own more than 20%. The revision is intended to reinvigorate the influence of the state of Lower Saxony, which holds just over 20% of Volkswagen, and has been opposed to Porsche's restructuring plans.
