(QTR) GT3 is infamous around these parts
There are only 3 order spaces this year one delivers at 5/08 and mine at 7/08 and another at 5/09. I think i will wait for the F430

why would you wait 8 months for a 430? there are plenty available right now...
Why would I buy a used F430??

Because in the states buying used can sometimes be the only way you can get into the Ferrari "family". You usually need to buy a one or two used cars from a dealer (at a premium of course) for the privelage of one day being able to get a new car at sticker.

I think this whole thread is about him ALREADY having an opportunity to buy the F430 at "sticker" .... No ?

For me it is about how you feel in it, marketability, and if other people share your passion. It would be a shame to spend that kind of money on a car that doesn't have the sex appeal that you're paying for. That's just me though. everyone is different.
It is all about feel, I agree 100% with you on that. And that is why I don't understand your statement about picking the one which is rarest in an area.
For example if I got to choose between the E55 and the M5 and there were 2 55's and a 1000 M5's in my area, I'd pick the M5 because that's the car I want. I prefer it over the AMG.
If your car is more common or not has nothing to do with you and everything to do with what other people think. I'd rather have the car I want instead of something that makes someone else say -Oh look at that, haven't seen one of those in a while.

Just my 0.02$

Is this one of those teaser threads? You're not serious right?

You get the Lambo, you'll always be saying to people, "Yeah, I cancelled my Ferrari order to buy this."....or some other acknowledgement that you ALMOST bought an Fcar, instead of the audi you're driving.......

Not dissen the Lambo. To the contrary, I dig the Lambo G, its a fine bit of kit, the 430 is just better....all the way around. Wouldn't kick either out of the garage, but if I had to do Sofie's choice, I'd be keep the 430....easy decision....even if it's the Superlaggera

430 all day long.......a Ferrari is a Ferrari and everything else is just everything else.....really, the Lambo is a glorified Audi...
