Audi R8 or Ferrari 360? What would you choose?
i like the r8 but was at an audi dealer and heard that two of them caught on fire. there was also the ones in testing that also burst into flames. ill take the ferrari for now. or wait until the new skyline gtr comes out. it looks a lot better in person
I'd most definitely go with the 360. The R8 is a pos in my opinion. It's a decent car, but it's underpowered, lacks interior detail (unless you spec it out yourself - 99% of U.S cars don't have full leather dash and doors), it's also hideously overpriced for the package you're getting. The 360 on the other hand is full leather, and is a true exotic. Not to mention it's just a trip to drive and own a Ferrari of any year or model - nothing else compares. The R8 is boring at best. For the price of a new R8 one can pick up a 360CS.
Best advice, go drive them back to back... Everyones opinions are going to be different. The majority of the people on this forum will say R8 because it's faster... That is true; however, if you're looking for a true thrill not a daily driver then the R8 is not going to thrill you like a 360 or 360CS would.

but funny how you call it a pos and in the next sentence say it's a decent car.
the r8 clearly is an awesome ride, but for what you can get in f-car land, there is simply no comparison. forza.
Again, depends on what floats your boat, but for the price of a R8 you have to question yourself 5x is it really worth it? The MSRP will easily take you into used Gallardo or 360CS territory. The fact that it's near 360CS territory just sparks anger in me. The 360CS a timeless classic with the most amazing sounding engine of it's time. The interior, exterior, and feel of the car are flawless. It also won't tank in value like the R8 will. Again, give it some though.

As echoed:
R8: better DD, newer, reliable, not a bad car at all.
360: if you want the horsey on your hood vs olympic ring reject (I kid)...one of my favorite cars of all time, more work/$$ to maintain.

R8: ~$125k and 2 year wait if you order now (in the US, anyway). I thought CS were going for $200k.
regardless of the price, these are very different cars and price shouldn't be a point of comparison.
