No basis for a suit against CarFax as they are just reporting info they have collected unless they know the info to be false.

They are not making any direct guarantees!

My understanding is that a great deal of the info they get comes from insurance companies. That info can be flawed at times.

Another problem with a car with a salvage title is that no one will finance them, which makes resale hard.

I do not believe this is true with all buyers.

Once one passes a certain financial threshold funding agencies will do almost anything whether it's real or personal property.

So I believe it depends on the buyer, his finances, and his prior financial history.

I looked at this very car a few times on AutoTrader.....great combo but the salvage title scares me (esp for my first Ferrari)

Ill wait til its PERFECT

Ferrari made close to 20,000 360s. Why bother messing around with one with a bad history ?
