The shield is the emblem above your wheels. On your car, I've never seen that design. I'm assuming that it is something the owner put on. The factory one looks like the 13th picture here:

Cool. They looked brown in the pics, but probably the glare. Enjoy the ride, you have great taste in color

Dave - I am in downtown Naperville area as well. I will keep an eye out for a gorgeous 360 modena roaring down 75th

The brownish look is just the glare, however by the pics I am not sure those are the factory shields. The pictures aren't up close of them, but if you look at the fender it is actually recessed around the shape of the fender, if the shields were a factory option. If it is aftermarket it will be some kind of thick sticker simply placed on the fender. Id have to either see the car, or see an up close pic to tell you.

Both are awesome area to live Dave - great post btw from a fellow Chicagoan!
Grew up in Naperville and then bought a loft near I94/Randolph. The Gold coast is the hapening place for sure, my buddy owns a restaurant that you should go check out if you like seafood. PM me for details!
Luv the car btw, F-car is one I have yet to own and will one day when the time is right.
