Matthew Groner in Houston, Texas founded Matthew's Auto Sales (MAS) in 1992. Matt, along with his wife Linda and their 3-year-old daughter Alaina, moved to Houston in 1988.

Matt, at the time a fragrance sales representative, was tired of being beat up by New Yorkers in the retail business world, and elected to try his hand in the auto business. A long time car enthusiast, Matt had tinkered with various vehicles for many years, and the progression into becoming a full-time "car guy" was a natural fit.

Fast-forward 11 years to the present, and literally thousands of cars later. The time had arrived to create a new image for MAS. Consequently, a widely expanded and enhanced offering of products and services has brought MAS into the 21st century! As MAS experiences continued growth, everyone at MAS looks forward to serving your automotive needs.

Having built MAS from "ground zero," the road was lined with several blind curves, potholes, and the occasional engine mis-fire! Yet, through our experiences, we have overcome the adversities of the adventurous journey, and in 2002 moved into our new facility in Northwest Houston.
Our 1.5-acre parcel is home to a new 8,000 square foot shop, sales lot and storage yard.
Because our roots evolved in the auto salvage business, we continue to purchase, rebuild, and market cars that had the misfortune of experiencing an accident. As a result, MAS has three frame machines for chassis re-alignment, a complete auto body shop, and a state of the art downdraft paint booth.

Additionally, we have three vehicle lifts, tire mounting and balancing machines, alignment rack, vehicle diagnostic analyzers, and every specialty tool needed to maintain your vehicle to the highest standards.
