I'm not at all in touch with Ferrari leasing, but a friend of mine has asked for advice. One of his clients lease a 2007 F430 Spider black/black with some options and then put 25K more into it in exhaust and wheels. It was a one-year lease and he was paying a little over 7K per month (car only, not add-ons). The car doesn't have a ton of miles and I'll find out shortly just how many, but let's figure it's definitely less than 10K. The owner is a previous F-car buyer/leaser, so I'm not sure of the residual value but he's offered to sell it to my friend for whatever the residual would be. If the lease wasn't structured too bad this could represent a good to great deal for my friend, depending on the buyout. Anybody here have an idea what the value of this car would be in a private sale? Better still, anyone do these leases on their vehicle and know if the residuals are realistic or ridiculous? I'll find out Monday what the residual actually is. TIA
