Question requesting a factory tour...?

I'll be in Milan in Sept and was hoping to make an excursion to Maranello.
I have to contact my dealer to arrange a factory tour, correct?

Has anyone here done it?

Thanks.

You need three things:

a) to own a Ferrari
b) have your dealer call NJ to make an appointment
c) reservation must be done a minimum of 30 days prior to your arrival at the factory

The Planet Hotel is directly across the street and is a great place to stay.

If you need their contact info, let me know.

It's about a 1.5 hour drive from Milan.

I went quite a few years ago and got exceptionally lucky. My dad was playing with the idea of getting a 360 coupe a few years ago and when we went to Italy we decided to see if we could manage to get a tour of the factory. With a little bit of convincing we were able to get a tour which really was life changing. I went in 2003 and got to see the Enzo assembly line aside the 575 and 360 assembly line. Also got to see them testing out a red and yellow enzo. Was overall a great experience and something you certainly must NOT pass up!

You were very lucky because since the Mclaren-Ferrari F1 episode blew up last year, Ferrari now wants to know who is in their factory.

No free btw while I am here rides there now.

I was lucky enough to check out the Ferrari and Lamborghini factories as well as where they made Pagani Zondas last summer, and I have to say that depite the Ferrari factory being my last visit of the trip, it was still stunning.. Literally jaw dropping. If you cannot see it sometime soon, I would make another trip some time in the future.
