Exactly - more weight to get going!

 

First off AWD would only hurt the LP640 against the 599. The way the 599 suspension is setup combined with the balance of the car give it insane amounts of grip in a straight line. For instance the entire front of the car jumps up way higher than you would think and a significant portion of the weight is placed on the rear tires giving them huge amounts of grip. The car can be floored from a stop and not spin the tires if they are warm and it is dry out. The LP640 also has an inferior transmission program and Imho inferior gear ratios. The 599 is a very very fast car for its size, so much so that you would not be able to understand its speed unless you drive one next to another super car. It really is an engineering masterpiece. The 599 is the real deal.
