That's absolutely the worst color for that car... i honestly cannot think of a color that is worse for that car, even brown would look better, looks terrible...

It looks more like burgandy than purple on my screen. I can think of worse colors for that car.This looks like a color for rich grandpa to be cruising around in...

 

If not mistaken the word has an "i" in it- vinnacia- as in vino for wine.

I believe that is the intent and basis of the color. Sort of a grape color.

Before clicking on this thread, I was expecting a total POS, but after seeing it, I think it looks awesome! Can't believe purple looks good on that car, not many cars can pull it off!

Purple on a Lambo, maybe. Purple on a Ferrari, hell no.

 

Yeah, it doesn't look bad at all...looks more like a dark purple.

 

I wonder if that will help or hurt its resale value?

 

It does look better than I expected but still not something I would do. A color like this demands the wheels are changed, something to offset the color, to play it down. A nice set of brushed HRE's would help big time.

Took some of my own pics of this car when I saw it at the Quaill event. It looks stunning in the metal. Right behind it was a "regular" red 599 GTB... and when you see them together you can see how much better that "eggplant" looking car is. Its all taste ofcourse.
