512 TR Question
Hi ppl,
I have a friend that has a 512TR, and it has a problem that one one seems to be able to fix.....
The problem you ask.... an intermitent starting problem
Eventually the car will start, but when it feels like it. LOL
He's been through 3 batteries, starter rebuilt, know it's not a fuel problem, ignition has been replaced, all grounds have been cleaned, there's a main connection thing that's been cleaned....
There's almost nothing left, electrical you say....well that doesn't seem to do the trick either.
Anyway, Bill Thomas is coming to look at it - but was just wondering if anyone has heard about this problem? Or it unique to the car you think?

Sure it isn't a fuel delivery problem? Does the car have dual pump system? Maybe one bad one?

Thanks for your reply - I've been to ferrarichat, yet I find tht most people there have 308's or are wanting to know about buying 360's. Anyway, thanks for your input.
In refrence to the fuel delivery problem, yes, both my friend and I are sure it's not a fuel problem. When it is cranked to start there is no problem. We are most sure there is an electrical problem, and it's being researched right now. I'll give you an update when I have one.
Again, thank you for your reply.
