What is the general opinion on the Scuderia Spider ? Anyone ordered one ?

A spider would seem to defeat the whole Scuderia concept but the only thing I could think of which would be better that doing this:

would be to run it with the top down.

I think making that car into a spider is a waste, the scuderia is supposed to a performance drivin 430, the only thing a ragtop will do is slow it down

whats the difference with a regular 430 spider?

the scud is a performance version of the f430 coupe. if the margin between the 2 is anything like the margin between the scud spider and the regular spider, why not? improve performance still, and keep the top down fun.

sort of applies to any convertible. some people like the top down, but also want as much performance as possible.

 

I am holding judgement until I see if the power to weight rations on the Scud Spider match the Scud Berlinetta.

I'm one of the few that will give up a little performance to enjoy top down motoring, but I'm also a hard core performance nut. Its the perfect car for me. Now if I could only afford one
