It was cool, didn't like the wheels and different style stripe, I prefer the coupe. If you want to post my pics on other forums/sites please give me the proper credit (name and link thanks!

I'm not a fan. Building a hardcore sports car should always require a coupe body, imo. The 16M badges on rear grille and front fenders look really cheap, as does the stripe for some reason. I just can't dig the spider version.

On the other hand, the wheels are really growing on me!

+1. Stripes look cheap, badge looks cheap, wheels look like they belong on a 350Z.

Nice color and 16M badging but this car should have only been a coupe. Defeats the purpose....

Great shots on your album. Love the 8C!

Part of me loves this car - all of the performance improvements, with the open top experience.

Part of me dislikes it - a car so extreme and special should just a be a coupe.

But, I still love M3 convertibles... Not just 335i cabs.
I still love 997TT Cabs, not just 997S cabs...
Etc, etc... This shouldn't be an exception. But I think it's going to be another toy for BH & Monaco trust fund kids to flaunt, rather than pure enthusiasts...

Nice pics! Those wheels do not match with a Scud. As most of you have said, I prefer coupe

If Porsche built a GT3 cab, people would be going crazy !

I love Ferrari's but I think they have really lost their way

-F430 & Scud: great cars
-612: yawn, Bentley and Aston make more exciting GT cars
-599 GTB: Incredible performance but looks like a Toyota Supra
-Cali Spider: Oh hell no ...just ugly IMO

Ferrari has always stood for passion, incredible style....with some of these new cars I think they've lost it. Let's hope the 430/Scud and its successor keeps the passion alive.

599 cannot be mistaken for a Supra.

I've had a few people think the 599 is an Aston.

The rest, e.g. Scud great, agree.

Ferrari has always struck me as a car you want to look good in first, and then performance is second. I think Ferrari may agree. Why else would Ferrari build their all out Scuderia in a drop top?
