Smile 612 scaglietti too long?

how is the 612? are the proportions of the car too long?

i haven't had the chance to check it out in person yet. from the photos i have seen online, it looks a little long. i am currently trying to buy a bentley gt but i am also considering an 05' 612.

anything i should be concerned about? anyone know the current going price for an 05' 612?

thnx

Too long for what? Visually, I don't think the car is too long. The issue is that the rear of the car is so ugly. It is just so non distinct. Values for the 05's are plummeting. I have seen several under 150.

I think they look pretty nice in person, and they drive great. I drove one with a 6-speed manual for an extensive period of time and loved it.

Styling is always personal taste... but if you the back of th 612 looks similer to a 575, you should should probably take a closer look.

It's a Looooooong car. Longer than the 575M in my opinion. It is a great touring car

I totally understand what you are up against. You can not shop for the 'traditional' F-cars as they are too impractical. The 612 is a excellent alternative to the CGT as its lighter, faster and more rare.

As for length it is pretty long, at 192 or 193" (the CGT is 189" btw), but with the right wheels, and aggressive lowering you can remedy all of that.

21" wheels will do the trick. Happy hunting!

I have a 612. Great car. I needed one with back seats, which obviously limits things significantly. It is a ferrari. Nothing else I test drove came close. Drive one if you get a chance. The V12 sounds great. I have the tubi exhaust and it sounds great. I highly recommend this car.

Both kids are comfortable in the back. These are the ferrari modular rims but I have 20" Vellanos on order. They should be here soon. Will take some pics after they are installed.
