Yes you read correctly paint! A brand new product, a vinyl film that is painted at the factory, its mad! It even smells like paint and has a clear coat that can be detailed, I’ve had a sample of this film on my van for a couple of weeks now, the idea was to find out what was possible before finishing the Ferrari. I’ve buffed it with a pc and rotary up to a cutting pad! I’ve even wet sanded a section then re-polished it to a great finish. It is amazing stuff!

Paintshield: xpeleu.com
The film: wrapwithpaint.com

Enjoy the pictures,
Kind regards, Roy.

Car had to be part dismantled to allow the film to be fitted around the edges.

Door openings wrapped as well!

Stradle style carbon Stripe added.

Some polished shots, check out the flake :thumb:

A few finished shots with the car back together.

Updated pictures from last weekends Monaco trip! Film seems to be holding up very well, even after some spirited driving :driver:

^ Well he said he has polished it and even wet sanded it. I think it can last for a while, since wet sanding a normal car removes a fine layer of clear, so this should last just as long if taken care of like a normal paint job.. I think.

This is badass is so many levels!!! Are there any pearl colors available in film? If so, who in their right mind will ever pay for a paintjob anymore? Film is where its at!

That's SWEET!

On a side note, while they were off, I think the car looked great without the Ferrari shields!!

Could you let me in on how much a quality wrap job like that set you back?

I'm thinking of spicing our red F430 up a bit.
