Considered 550 Maranello? Or too heavy/ not enough sporty for you? Worth considering I was looking at 355 earlier this year but I don't want the maintenance costs to keep me back from driving as much as I want (pretty much every day, the 6 months of summer we have)! So I'm considering 550 as my first Ferrari in 2011. Good luck man.

I had a 575 years ago and NOEKULT you will have fun with that car. It's not as sporty as you mentioned. They are definatly a GT car but that 12 was so cool. Best of luck on your first Fcar I hope it's one of many to come for you

The 550/575 are among by favourite F-cars.. awesome GT cars. A good one is hard to come by at a good price though.

550's are nice cars for sure - I'd be happy to have one but have not really considered it yet. Maybe I will consider it if I go with a Ferrari but my wife is now learning more about the ongoing 'budget' for an F-car and she is shying away.

What year 355 is this car? Sounds rather inexpensive, although private sellers are not beholden to anything but their financial situation.

IMHO,

The good Ferrari's never make it onto eBay or craigslist. The ones that do are usually messed up in some way... some probably have odometer rollback too.

I don't think so..just a realist knowing his car needs the big $$$$ service coming up. The guys with the same cars and same service coming still asking 80k are the ones out to lunch
