#1 maintenance tip, drive it regularly and keep it on a battery conditioner when it is in the garage.

I would not go with straight pipes, just too loud and uncomfortable for more than a 15 minute drive.

Racing seats are great. Really like the ones in my Scuderia. Can spend all day in them and not be uncomfortable.
