Oil change problem

HELLO ALL
I RECENTLY DID OIL CHANGE ON MY 360 MODENA
I REPLACED A LITTLE MORE OIL THAN I REMOVED AND PUT NEW FILTER
I DROVE CAR 30 TO 45 MINUTES...UP HILLS AND ON FREEWAY.
MOTOR WAS HOT...I CHECKED OIL LEVEL 3 TIMES WHILE DRIVING CAR AFTER IT WAS HOT AND ONCE UPON ARRIVING HOME...
OIL ONLY SHOWED AT VERY TIP OF DIPSTICK..
I AM CONCERNED WITH OVERFILLING DUE TO INFO I HAVE READ ONLINE.. THERE ARE ABOUT 9 TO 9.5 QUARTS IN CAR NOW.
ANY ADVICE? ANYONE HAVE SIMILIAR EXPERIENCE?
CAR RAN GREAT!
THANKS...ANTHONY

Well, no Ferrari experience but I will say this....no car should ever be over-filled with oil.

are you checking the oil level properly? it's easy to misread the level as low when it's full if the procedure isn't followed.

here is a write up on f430 oil change and oil level check. should be similar to f360

did the car get hotter than usual? if so, i would guess it may be a little low on oil. if it is over filled by over 1-2 quarts (unlikely), you should see excessive smoke and maybe oil in the air filter housing.

360 oil capcity is 12 quarts. You'll never replace 12 quarts in an oil change, however, due to oil in cooler, lines, and residual in the sump.

9.5 - 10.0 quarts is about right.

I have always put in 10 quarts.

Only check oil level when engine is warm
