Novitec hydraulic front lift system for 458

Hi everyone,

I've purchased a set of novitec HLS kit for my 458 a few months ago from a shop in North America. The problem I'm experiencing is that when the lift is at its up position, the lift doesn't hold at all and drops to lowered setup. Sometimes it holds for 8-10sec, but that's the max it will hold. It just worries me a lot when I'm trying to go through some bumps and I don't know when will the lift drops.

I've emailed back and forth a few times with the shop but still can't get this solved. Anyone with such kit experienced anything like this? All I know is the kit is by KW too, but I guess novitec has the only right to sell them for 458.

Please chime in if you guys experienced sth like this.

Thx a lot guys
A.

It could have a leak or a weak pump or something... has the shop inspected it? It sounds like a warranty issue to me.

Yea they have shipped me another ECU unit that controls the system, but that didn't solved the problem. Hopefully I can find the problem out ASAP. Many thx for the comment bud.

Well the ECU is just the controller / brain, the pump itself for the hydraulics might be bad and cant hold the pressure or the same for any of the seals within the lines for the fluid... one might be leaking and the pressure doesn't hold, thus dropping the car...
