I can never understand people's opinions on Ferrari design, or Japanese car design for that matter. I can't imagine a car that looks more Japanese in design than the Enzo, and yet many people sing its praises as being beautiful while simultaneously mocking Japanese design. I wonder what Ken Okuyama has to say about that.

As for this car, anyone who thinks it is ugly while thinking the 599 is beautiful confuses me. They have so many of the same visual cues that it would be nearly impossible to make a case for one over the other.

Car design is rarely the nationalistic exercise people like to make it out to be anymore. Many German cars aren't designed by Germans, many British cars aren't designed by British, and many Italian cars are not designed by Italians. Don't spout uneducated opinions. Next thing you know, we might accidentally call an Italian car beautiful just because it's Italian, even if it looks terrible and is designed by a Belgian . . .
