Which one to sell: "04 TTCab or '04 360 Spider?

Hi,

I posted this in the 996TT section but I should post it here as well.

So I'll post pictures of the cars again:

Here is the predicament: I have a 997 TT coming in August and a 430 Spider in three weeks. My garage space is severly limited to two cars and there is no head room to install a lift. I'd like to keep my two current cars but would have to keep them outside. I have one carport that might work short term - so I only have to sell one car for now.

The TT Cab has mods that cost me a ton so it is a hard case to make for a sale. I'd be loosing about 80k.

The 360 Spider is all stock and a 430 Spider is a clear replacement.

The Spider has 11,500 mls, the TT 13,400. I don't have time to try to sell these cars at max $$$$. I'd sell the TT for $120K (50K in mods) or the Spider for $185K.

Which car would you sell?

Thanks for your help.

Oliver

I would sell the TT if I were in your situation. I must say that both cars look amazing! The white/rosso Spider is THE ****! What color 430 did you go for?

Put them both up for sale! What ever car sells first keep the other. This will allow you to get the price out of the cars you are looking for. BTW goold luck

i would sell the 360. that way you will still have a porsche and a ferrari instead of two ferrari's until the 997 comes and i think that when you get your 430 you will forget about the 360

I would sell both while the market is hot, if you have a replacement for each coming.

If you choose only one, i'd get rid of the turbo. There's still something to be said about a WHITE 360 spider. ESPECIALLY with RED INTERIOR!!

sell the 360. you are getting another italian, and that tt is modded and probably pretty damn near where you want it to be as far as personalization.

Sell both. The new cars will make you forget the others. It's like divorcing Carmen Electra (was girl) and marrying Angelina Jolie (it girl)

Why would you keep either one? Sounds like a better replacement is coming for each!

Btw, I hate you

Both of them are sexy so that's a hard decision! Have you considered making your garage bigger?

I could keep both of them in my garage for you... No problem what so ever, just make sure to leave me the extra keys to both cars. Then you can just come by whenever you want to drive them.

Thank you all for your advice.

I put the Spider up for sale in the sales section for $179,360. I have an offer on the car and the buyer will fly in with a check next Friday. But you never know.... Any backup offers are welcome.

I also put my E55 up for sale - I just bought a replacement for it yesterday.

E55s rock. There is no other car to come close in the sub 100K range - and I include the new M5 in that statement. I'm also burned out on dealing with iDrive in my wifes 545.

So I bougt a fully loaded 2006 E55. The E63 will not have the incredible torque of 516 available at 2800 RPM. The E 63 makes only 400 and change around 6000 RPM and will not be modable like the E55.

The deal on the Spider fell through. The buyer could not get the financing he wanted.

Any takers for $179,360?
