Exhaust Question

I'm sure if I did a search I could find more than enough info but i'm exhausted myself and need the info kinda soon.

If some one would be kind enough to answere the following questions it would be great and i'll promis to do a search next time. Or give the person a ride in the Enzo who helps me the most next time your in Vegas or LA depending where the car is or a different car of your choice.

I have a 430 Coupe, 9some of you might know I have alot of cars) I'm going to keep it, does putting a Tubi or something similar on help performance or just change the sound of the car? Does the car run better/faster or just sound different? What other brands are there-i'll do the research from there, I just dont want to make it louder I have enough loud cars. We could appl this question to my Enzo as well.

thanks in advance.

I *think* there is a small gain in HP with Tubi. It will make the car(s) louder and from what I have heard some people don't like Tubi on the F430. There is also Capristo exhaust which sounds amazing on the CS and I know some people who changed from Tubi to Capristo on their F430s. Here is a link to a video of an Enzo with Tubi- http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...04&q=Tubi+Enzo I love the stock exhaust on the Enzo so I don't know if I would go with Tubi on it. Hopefully this helps.

I can tell you from personal experience is that the Fuchs exhaust for the Enzo is the best sound I have ever heard come out of a car in my life! I was lucky enough to meet Mr. Fuch's himself (the son) and listen to the exhaust on his personal enzo during a big Ferrari gathering here in FL (Cavallino Classic). We have recently become the US distributor for Fuchs and I am very excited to start selling these systems! Extremely high quality and unbelieveable sound.

Fuch's exhaust are made of V4A Stainless steel while many competitors use only V2A. Also, Fuchs uses ceramic coated packing to ensure the packing does not just burn away like the competition! These 2 things alone put the Fuchs on a different level than the competition!

The exhaust for both the Enzo and 430 do have power gains. Being naturally aspirated, no end muffler is going to yield HUGE power gains on either car. you can expect around 10HP on each car from the muffler. It is really more for sound and throttle response! For the F430 they also offer a 100 cell sport catalytic which will ad more power. Between the sport catalytics and muffler you can expect around 15-20HP on the 430!

If you want any more info or pricing, send me an email (evan@fvd.us) and I would be glad to help you out!
Regards,
Evan

well it seems like you should stay with your stock 430 exhaust.
all the aftermarket exhausts will make your car LOUDER than stock

This is Joe @ Fabspeed Motorsports.

You 100% CAN NOT get any extra extra power from changing out any Ferrari OEM stock factory F360 Challenge Stradale or F430 factory rear muffler. Fuchs or GOD, Jean Todt make any more power from changing out ONLY the rear muffler systems.

Why because.............all F360 Challenge Stradale & F430 mufflers systems as designed by Ferrari 100% Completely bypass the rear muffler by using exhaust muffler bypass pipes that open at predetermined RPM points.

Therefore the exhaust has no restriction or backpressure as engineered by Ferrari SPA.

The ONLY good tried and proven method to gain horsepower and torque and pick up a fantastic sound improvemnt and get more Ferrari F1 type sound is to install F360, F430 sports racing catalytic converters or F360/F430 catalytic converter catbypass pipes.

Fabspeed Motorsports was the 1st to develop both of these products for the F430 cars and we made VIDEOS to demonstrate the incredible sound and enhanced driving style experience! On the F430 all you need or want to maximize power and sound is to add fabspeed sport racing "bolt-on" cats and get a set of our quad 3.5" tips and you CANT improve the F430 exhaust as now it sounds as good as possible and look very COOL as you ditched the lousy factiry tips!

best regards
