My car is stock with an aftermarket exhaust.

Numbers are good, but numbers don't run on Angeles Crest

A stock TT suspension doesn't have a chance against a stock (adjusted) 360 suspension

My argument is against the statement "it would walk the 360 hands down". You make it sound like it would be easy. I say it would not be easy and you'd better be a helluva driver to just beat it ... damn sure better not be skeerd

You used to have a GT2 right? I am sure you have driven TT's. It is a known fact that STOCK vs STOCK a TT will walk on a 360. A TT with exhaust will walk on a 360 with exhaust stock suspension or not. The driver of the TT must have either a) not been trying too hard or, b) has no idea how to drive. Not trying to knock 360's (If read my 1st post, I said I would love to add one to the garage someday ) but the TT wins.

Yeah, I had a GT2 .. sweet car, very sweet and very fast. I would love to have both, a GT2 and a 360 (really want a Stradale)

It was nice to have one of the fastest production cars on the street, but you couldn't safely demonstrate it enough and you would rarely run up against someone worthy of a demonstration . In the Ferrari, you have one of the most erotically beautiful (I think so) and high-performance cars on the road ... and you get to demonstrate that erotic beauty EVERY time you drive it. Then, when the spirit hits, you have 400hp on tap in a mid-engine layout, suspended on coil-overs with a sound that can melt egos.

That was fun

Do any of you guys have links to some interesting videos of 360's or TT's? It can be racing vids or just any vids in general.

Get a 997 and a 360. That'll be perfect. I had a 996 and don't like them all that much. I love my 997. Having said that, I"m looking for a nice 360 coupe to complement my 997. For a daily driver, the Porsches can't be beat.

The costs between the 2 are quite close if you compare a 2000 360 and a 2005 TT S.

The TT S is definitley the faster car and is a better daily driver.
If the car is just for date night or to have a garage queen the 360 is the sexier ride.

not sure how many of you guys have owned both, or run them side by side, but I have. You're talking about a 400hp light ferrari against a 420hp heavy tt. There is no walking (whatever the hell that means) on either car. The TT has more torque, but when you go to shift your tt, the ferrari keeps revving to almost 9000 rpm, then the TT pulls ahead in the next gear, and then the ferrari keeps revving and pulls back.

I've run a 2001 TT against a 2000 F1 360 hundred of times, and granted the 360 was F1 so he could shift faster, it was pretty much dead even. And I can drive the **** out of my TT. I love my TT, but the 360 will make the TT look like a VW GTI in the twisties.

comparison between the two is similar to comparison between f430 vs Z06. No one in the right mind would take a z06 if it wasn't so much cheaper. Yes, performance in straight line may be awesome in a z06 but that'sabout where the advantage ends.

imo, get the f360 if you can afford it and don't drive daily. if you do drive daily, get a daily driver plus a f 360. as much as i love 996 tt for the great value, i won't buy one bc it's too heavy. i would get a 997 gt3 instead.

Actually, if the car is for date night, the TT is a better choice. You can leave it with the valet and go on to your evening date. I would not be a very good date knowing my 360 is outside somewhere, out of sight, at the mercy of a valet. I'd be worried sick. Then when you take her home ... are you going to leave the 360 outside her pad while you attempt business? (I'm married .. don't have to worry about that shiat )

My 360 is for drivin' and pimpin'

I am sure if this were in the Turbo forum, we would get a very different opinion. The stock turbo will still walk on it.
