F40 for Sale
Not affiliated with seller, but ran across it today and drooled over my keyboard thinking of how to pick it up.

Grand Prix Imports (the seller) if a local high end exotic dealer that has been in business for roughly 2 years now. I've visited them before with a friend looking at a Cayenne TT. The place seems like a top notch facility, with great employees and nice collections of cars.
However, I'm shocked to see that they aren't being completely upfront about the history of the car. The FC thread includes a buyer who was about to trade is Murci for the F40, and ran a VIN on the F40 only to find it was his previous car that he had been in a bad accident with. GPI didn't make any effort to inform him of the history of the car, and their listing doesn't display anything either.
Buyer beware, and this thread is just one more example of how valuable online car communities such as these really are.
EDIT: I'm considering calling them and informing their manager of the negative exposure they are getting all over well respected car forums littered with potential buyers beause of their unwillingness to full disclose important history of the F40.

Well, I guess they got the message or found religion, because when I called them today they were totally upfront, told all the replacement parts that were installed etc. Claiming $70k in repairs. Seems like a deal at $269 but a hard sell at $369.

Good to hear though. Wonder how many called before you to inquire about the damages?
