Isn't there a stretch of a few hundred miles where there are no speed limits or cops? I read about it in a road & track magazine years back. Just miles and miles of triple digit speeding.

yeah there used to be no speed limits up through NT. Many motoring journo's took supercars up there but they have now limited the roads
