Depends on year and color. A great '86 could go for 60K to 70K. A '91 from 75K to 85K. I would suggest not paying more then 90K(<----must be a creampuff to justify this price). For 10K to 15K more you could get a nice 512TR.

If you can, swing a 512TR...the refinements make it such a sweet car...

A nice 512TR can be had for 100k....a concours one for 115-120k.

Gotta love those late '80's/early '90s prices! LOL. What about those guys who bought F40's for $1 mil on speculation?

Oh yeah. Like RufMD said, the refinements of the 512TR make it a sweet ride, especially the interior. Not only that, they also don't look dated like the original Testarossa is starting to. A guy down my block has a 512TR and im always suprised how well the design is holding up compared to newer Ferraris. And he refuses to get rid of it. However, which ever one you go for, you won't regret it.

I had both an '86 and '94 and although the '94 was more refined I would still opt for the earlier years...much more character and the prices these days are a true bargain

Thanks guys, looking for an earlier yr' fixer-upper' so to speak as a long term project. As long as most of the parts are there and the body is good, blown engine is ok. TIA
