going to have to agree with you 100%.

how different are the f40 and gt? been that they both are pretty basic in their driver aids? as opposed to other supercars, like the enzo.

 

What are you waiting for? I would have to think you could sell the Carrera GT, F40, Challenge and BB and just about cover the cost?

 

I would also have to go with the M/F1. But I do love that Jag. My other favorties would be the CGT and the Zonda. Mclaren takes the cake though.

 

That is a nice video. I think any car nut, myself included, would take the Macca. Clarkson never has really loved the F1 for some reason, maybe it was because Gordon Murray referred to him as a **** . I prefer Tiff's reviews, and we all know how much he likes the McLaren! I think it goes without saying that the F1 might be the greatest thing ever made. Period.

 

great video - and I agree about the F40 - the F1 is amazing, as are all the cars in the video, but I never cared for the bizarre seating arrangement in the F1 and I prefer the looks of the F40 - I also like the F40 for its significance for Ferrari, as Enzo's last car ... ultimately, as said in the video, it's a personal choice

As an aside...
Road and Track had a fantastic piece this month about the little known LM version of the F1 written by Murray himself.

He said that the LM was his own version of an F40esque F1, and went on to comment that the only car he's driven on the road thats quicker than an F1, is an LM.

I personally think that the central seating postion of the F1 speaks volumes about its purpose. A great car, built ahead of its time.

An old, but good vid, and one of the rare occasions in which I completely, entirely agree with Clarkson.

The F40 is the greatest car ever built by man.
