I like the carbon streeing wheel & stereo, looks much better than my 06 f430.

Congratulations! How's the new Bose system?
I just saw a Rossa Corsa 430 in the Park Ave. showroom yesterday and it has the new bose system in it. How does it sound? I'm looking forward to a bit of a sound upgrade after my 2001 911TT.

sound upgrade??? My stock 996TT had a much better stereo than the upgraded becker/bose unit in the F430. That's one option that I would have passed on...but then again, any aftermarket stuff will usually devalue the car.

Bose now makes the higher end stereo for the F430. They began with the September production run. 2 speakers behind each seat now instead of the box between the seats. Also, there's a large amp compartment that is just below the climate control...bringing it now all the way to the floor of the car.

I believe that Porsche upgraded the stereo in late 2001. The system in the early 2001 cars is aweful.

Yes...I have that exact bose system in my car and it's not that good. I had a late 02 996TT...thus the better stereo i guess?

At 7200.00 for the upgraded bose speakers, etc., I dont think it's worth it.

Nope. The old one with the subwoofer in the middle of the seats was 2K and change. The new Bose system is 7200.
