I was admiring an extraordinarily well cared for 1935 Alfa Romeo 8C-35 racer at the Lime Rock Vintage Festival. When I walked out of the maintenance tent I stumbled across the owner's street car for getting around during the race weekend. The view was memorable.

man id love to have a throw around of those old classics. i love watching/ seeing photos of drivers sliding those classic open wheelers around.

i wonder how they drive? if they are like modern day open wheelers in any way?

anyone have any experience?
