Rennsport Reunion III Nov 1-4 Daytona
I didn't mean to take anything away from Leh (he is very fast and humble...I like both) it just wasn't as exciting as Group 4 which made my day! I was sooooo pulling for the 908, Damn! Hope you had a great time.
Great shots.....great seeing/meeting everyone....Luis ...tell Ricky (or youself) to post up some of the pictures he took...of the drive also
I didnt look at my speedometer but those that did said we were up there....(open straights by the way)...
everything was cool untill I/4 split as we didnt have a plan for that ...some went left the rest went right...
Oh....I want to get another Porsche now....

After being around so many beautiful and bad *** cars all day, I can see how you would. Dont think I can stop at just one....I want more!!!
I said Porsche sales probably see a small spike right after these events (used and new) as it's a great sales brochure...
I was driving home thinking the same thing
absolutey....let me think which direction to go then will be in touch......I know you know where they are all hiding ...
I tried to park the BMW "near" the entrance to the Porsche Only area and was threatened to be towed by the attendant standing guard ...everyone else had Porsches and just waved as they drove in..talk about discrimination......

We really could not have asked for better weather this year. I did see DD as he was pulling into the parking area.....nobody was anywhere near his car around 1:00 though. Had a great time with my daughter though, she is wanting an Orange Boxster now for her first car.
Anybody sit in the Cayman with the new CF seats? Nice!
Worst part of this Sat was driving soooo slow there and back. My friend drove his 356 an average speed of 65mph. My daughter was commenting on all the old people passing us. I would do the occasional freight train blast passed him, then wait for him to catch back up. This was the longest he had driven the car since he got it back from its restoration. I definitely did not want him stranded with that car on the side of the road.

That's my race car! Hurley killed it in the car. He was 8K in 5th before the front straight. Had we had a taller gear in it, he may have ran a 2:00 flat! Anyways, too bad I didn't drive. Next time!
